The UUScrew®
/ˌyuː yuː skruː/ · NOUN · A RAPID, REVOLUTIONARY ANCHOR TECHNOLOGY

Put a fast, inexpensive, reusable anchor anywhere. In just one step.
Traditional anchoring requires multiple tools and multiple steps. Drilling pilot holes. Switching bits. Installing additional hardware. Mounting with two sets of hands. The UUScrew® reduces that process to a single, swift action.

01
Drive it in
Drive The UUScrew® into the surface with a single torx-style 6 lobe driver. That one action creates a ready-to-use, machine-threaded anchor point.
02
You're ready to attach
Attach what you need to the machine threads for hanging, fastening, mounting, securing, tensioning, and more.

how it works
02
Anchor
That single drive creates a ready-to-use, machine-threaded anchor point, even without access to the back of the surface.
THE UNIVERSAL UTILITY SCREW®
One technology
Infinite possibilities
Built around the same one-step anchoring technology, each UUScrew® variation can be designed for a different kind of job, while remaining part of one unified anchoring and fastening technology.
Built to Scale → The UUScrew® technology can scale to any size and length, with new variations developed around the needs of specific industries.
INDUSTRIES + APPLICATIONS
One technology
Built to go everywhere
Whether you're using the The Standard Screw™, The Storm Screw System™, or The Knob Screw™, The UUScrew® was designed to make anchoring, attaching, fastening, hanging, mounting, joining, securing, and tensioning faster and simpler across all industries. From everyday DIY to construction, marine, public works, and beyond, the same core system can be adapted to a huge range of jobs.
Have a custom application?

Contractors
Cut unnecessary steps from framing, sheathing, signage, conduit, retrofits, solar, and other installs across a wide range of building materials.

Consumer + DIY
Mount TVs, shelving, hooks, curtain rods, cabinets, and more with a faster, simpler anchoring process across wood, sheetrock, concrete, brick, and stone.

Industrial Architecture
Create flexible threaded anchor points for glazing, structural panels, cable systems, signage, architectural facings, and complex retrofit applications.

Home Goods + Furniture Manufacturing
Streamline repetitive installs across cabinetry, furniture production, joiner hardware, upholstery, wall padding, knobs, and decorative finishes.

Automotive
Create reusable anchor points for mounting, securing, tie-down, and tensioning needs across vehicles and equipment, with room to adapt the system for specialized applications.

Marine
Handle rigging, cleats, lifelines, winches, blocks, tie-downs, and deck hardware with fast, versatile anchoring across boats, ships, and docks.

Military
Support rapid anchoring for tie-downs, temporary shelters, transport platforms, gear, safety lines, and emergency applications across vehicles and infrastructure.

Public Works
Create permanent anchor points for storm protection, winterization, fire safety, concrete tie-downs, and other systems that need to deploy quickly when it matters.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The more you know
Yes, The UUScrew® exceeds all ASTM testing standards.
Yes. We have yet to encounter a type of anchoring, attachment, hanging, fastening, mounting, joining, securing, or tensioning that The UUScrew® design cannot accomplish faster and more cost-effectively than other methods. And we are glad to discuss custom applications of The UUScrew® — including the fabrication of custom products.
Yes. Use of The UUScrew® is highly intuitive. Additionally we are producing high-quality instructional videos for all our products.
Every UUScrew® can be easily installed with a single driving-action torx-style six-lobe external driver.
Yes. Unless you’re hitting a stud, we recommend using a conventional #10 -12 anchor sleeve for drywall, as well as for brick, masonary and concrete.
Yes. Sizes, lengths, threading, and configurations can be developed around the needs of a specific application or industry.
This system uses The Standard Screw™, a removable Keps nut, and a marine-grade plywood decorative spacer, prepped to paint the color of your choice.

REAL-WORLD APPLICATION
The mural that put The UUScrew® to the test.
For artist Glen Wilson’s permanent public artwork at P.S. 105 in the Bronx, The UUScrew® made it possible to safely mount and layer panels along a curved wall where conventional fastening approaches weren’t working.
Because the installation sits in an active school environment, the fastening system also had to meet serious safety and performance expectations. The tested performance of The UUScrew® helped provide the confidence needed to move the installation forward and realize the work as designed.
